Complaints about municipal utility systems, broadband and internet providers, cable or satellite television providers, cellular phone providers (is this the same as "wireless service"?), or propane providers can be addressed to the NC Attorney General's Office by dialing 1-877-5-NO-SCAM (1-877-566-7226) or 919-716-6000. 

Complaints about electric membership corporations or telephone membership corporations should be addressed to the Rural Electrification Authority at 919-733-7513.

Parking

The Public Staff is located on the fifth floor of the Dobbs Building on North Salisbury Street. Office hours are 8:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, except for state holidays.

The Dobbs Building is located at the north end of the Downtown State Government Complex on North Salisbury Street. Public access is via the Dobbs Building Lobby Entrance on the east side of the building facing the grassy mall area. All visitors are required to check in at the Dobbs Building Security Desk located at this entrance.
